PEZ Comedy

24.06.2011

I am sure you have visited our PEZ Comedy Channel by now. No? Then it's high time to do so!

To know who is starring, we will give you a short insight into the playing characters:

The main character is the Grim Reaper, yes – Death. He has targeted four child-like characters.

But as it soon turns out, he is completely unsuited to his job. His failure stems from the naivety, ignorance and nerve-wracking way of his victims. And also from the stubbornness of an old grandma, who doesn’t exactly hold back when it comes to chasing off the Grim Reaper with her umbrella.

Plagued by self-doubt, inferiority complexes and the fear of failure, Death ends up seeking advice from a psychiatrist. But he only has eyes for his extraordinary attractive assistant, making him no use whatsoever for the Grim Reaper. In fact we could almost start feeling sorry for him...

Featuring:

The Grim Reaper

The Grim Reaper is the familiar figure of Death - dressed in black, with a low, dark voice and pale complexion. Worshipped by the PEZ candy skeletons, not really taken seriously by his victims, he rapidly turns out to be pretty much a loser.

Unable to get his way, he seems to be rather impatient, easily irritated and ultimately quite unhappy. Especially the old grandma with her umbrella always seems to get the upper hand. No wonder he turns into a case for the psychiatrist. Too bad that he can’t help the Grim Reaper either.

Granny Smith

The grandma with her umbrella is the guardian angel of the child-like characters. She is always there when she’s needed, to put Death firmly in his place.

Yes, the old lady knows no fear of Death. On the contrary, she teaches him fear. Using both determination and her umbrella, which turns into a terrible weapon in the eyes of the Grim Reaper. Of course the man in black never really suffers physical harm – and for mental damage he does have his psychiatrist.

Inge Nue

Inge Nue is a child-like, naive blonde. She seems to be doing her best, to be sensitive and open, sometimes mean too, and mostly somewhat other-worldly. But that does her no harm because she doesn’t even know who the guy in black wielding a scythe is. And that’s how she behaves too – she just doesn’t take Death seriously.

Johnny Look-in-the-Air

Johnny Look-in-the-Air is a bit slow on the uptake. You can watch his thoughts as they happen. And you can listen too, assuming you can understand his mumbling. He often seems completely out of it, as if caught in a parallel universe that no one can enter... Not even Death, which is all for the best, of course.

Crybaby

Crybaby is… well, let’s put it mildly… rather highly-strung and emotionally overstrained in almost every situation. She’s permanently sad, offended, scared, anxious or wailing for some other reason. Yes, she cries so readily that it gets too much even for Death. He just can’t keep looking at it.

Smart S.

Smart S. resembles a human bottom with eyes and ears attached, from which some clever comment is always forthcoming. What he says is mostly pretty highbrow and often quite irrelevant, indeed, completely inappropriate. Moreover, he continually has new ideas which sometimes end in disasters, and often herald doom for Death.

Dr. Shrink

The psychiatrist sticks closely to his great model from Vienna. Just like him he has a one-track mind. Having an extaordinary attractive assistant doesn’t help either: she makes sure his mind is on the job... just that kind of job.

In any case his patients arouse his interest much less than the lady in violet. And even if he does say “Yes” and “Ahh” the whole time, he never really listens. You can tell that by the strange advice he throws up all the time... sorry, comes up with... They mostly sound like hollow phrases or the kind of sayings you find hidden in fortune cookies.

Bella B. Oops

The attractive psychiatrist’s assistant has one outstanding talent. Which she carries upfront. Okay, that’s enough crudeness. She can probably do a lot more, but in the eyes of the woman chaser Dr. Shrink she’s one thing only: the object of his desire.

Now quite frankly, she has a very one-dimensional role to play in PEZ Comedy. Because all she does is float through the picture distracting attention with her assets. Otherwise she remains silent. But doesn’t that say more than a thousand words?

Hi Gü, von den PEZ Comedy Spendern gibt es jeweils nur ein Original... und diese spielen ja in der Comedy mit und sind daher unabkömmlich :-)
