It’s done: The PEZ dispenser set representing Prince William and Catherine Middleton is ready to be auctioned on www.ebay.co.uk under the eBay for Charity category! The auction works like any other one on eBay: you can bid until the auction finishes on April 17th, 20:11:55 GMT (21:11:55 CET). Only the person with the highest bid pays and gets the Kate & William box set.
Please note, that bids can only be placed by pre-approved bidders. It’s easy to get pre-approved: Just send us an eBay message with your full name, phone number and email address. We will approve you as quickly as possible – usually within a couple of hours. If you want to bid, it is certainly a good idea to get approved right now! Like this you won’t be stressed by approval-matters… Sorry, for bothering you with this procedure. But apparently – that’s what eBay for Charity has told us and they are the experts! – this is an important step in order to get serious bids only.
One more important point: As you already know, all the proceeds of the auction will go to a charity. To decide which organization should be supported was not an easy task at all. Finally we determined that all the money will go to Starlight: Starlight Children’s Foundation fulfills wishes of seriously and terminally ill children and thus brings a bit of happiness into their lifes and also into hospitals. This helps to distract the little patients from their sorrows and pains and thus gives them some positive energy. We like the significant contribution Starlight makes to society – and we think it suits well with PEZ. After all children are our most important fans! And what’s more: Also Prince William and Catherine Middleton have repeatedly supported Starlight.
