I thought it is just a fairy tale

... but sometimes

dreams do come true.

Gosh! Friends and neighbours … I had no idea that there are so many romantics out there. A sincere “Thank You” and my deepest respect for all that creativity. And again I had a hard time choosing a winner under all those imaginative ideas. But I have made my choice which I am happy to share with you:

Bring her to a field with a lot of flowers. And then give her some things that she likes to eat and sit there and talk till the sun sets! When night fall comes, show her around the place with lots of fireflies and the night sky filled with stars. Lie down on the grass with her and then look at the stars. Don't go on and ramble like an astronomer. Talk to her slowly and then try to let each other know more about each other.

It was a gorgeous and sunny day and I was seeing all things through rose-colored glasses when Lady Marie and myself were rowing across a beautiful pond. I was paddling so she could admire my Grasshopper muscles whilst she was just sitting there … sparkling in the sunlight. She was stunningly beautiful and her gentle and silver voice whispered marvellous stories. I wished I could have stopped time.

Then we decided to make a side-trip to a corn poppy meadow since Lady Marie got hungry. She only needed to flick with her feelers and I just hopped around bringing her everything her little heart desired. Sappy blades of grass and tasty rose petals … you name it. And every time I was rewarded with that sparkle in her eyes. A blaze to die for …

And once the sun reached the horizon we were just sitting there in silence … shoulder to shoulder … enjoying a dreamlike sunset. And then I wanted to whisper to her the most beautiful pet name, a ladybug’s ear has ever heard, but first of all I did not have the courage to do so … and secondly I could not think of a well fitting pet name.
